One Day Art Workshop with Altered Arts founder Cyndi Duncan

Spend the day with Altered Arts founder Cyndi Duncan as she leads us on an artistic journey exploring each artist's impression of the lighter side of life.
Several artistic and altered book techniques will be presented. We will explore book edge enhancements, gold leaf, handmade embellishments and much more. Leave with a fun book that will leave you smiling for years to come.
Bring:
Basic art/stamp kit including: scissors, adhesives (for paper and 3D embellishments), favorite rubber stamps, favorite stamping inks, quotes, images, and other things that make you laugh. You may also choose to bring a heat gun, X-Acto/utility knife, and cutting mat. Books to alter will be available, but you may wish to bring a book that speaks to the theme of the workshop (or speaks to you). Be sure your sense of humor and desire to have a good time accompanies you to this light-hearted event.
Provided:
Your workshop fee includes the six hour workshop with acclaimed instructor and altered art queen Cyndi Duncan, a class kit including various fun collage images and other goodies that may be of use to you in creating your exciting project. Various, paints, inks, rubber stamps, papers and other fun embellishments will be available for your use. Participants are also treated to a buffet lunch in the hotel's restaurant.
Be Prepared:
Be prepared to have a wonderful time in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We will also be awarding many exciting door prizes! One lucky participant will leave with a FREE Taster Membership in the Mailbox Muse.
Cost:
$150.00 per participant
Your $50 deposit is due now. DO NOT USE PAYPAL. The remainder of your class fee will be charged to your card between January 10th and 15th. If joining with a group, all deposits are required on the same order and the balance will be charged to the same card (in order to get the group discount).

Cancellation:
$10 administrative fee for cancellations before January 25. No refunds after January 25.
